Privacy policy

In short. The contact form is only used to get back to you. We never sell your data, and we never use it for marketing or advertising. This site sets no cookies and uses no trackers — which is why you see no consent banner. When you submit the form, a few technical details — including your IP address — are recorded for the sole purpose of protecting that form from advertising bots.

What we collect

What you type yourself into the contact form:

• your name
• your email address
• the nature of your enquiry (drop-down list)
• your message

A few technical details, for security only. At the moment the form is submitted — and only then — our server records the following in the message sent to us:

• your IP address
• the browser your device declares
• the date and time of submission
• the page the form was sent from

In addition, like any web server, our host’s server keeps an access log containing visitors’ IP addresses. We consult it only in the event of an incident.

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no embedded social media content. We do not follow you from page to page and we build no profile of you.

Why, and on what basis

The data you type is used solely to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare the business relationship you asked for. The legal basis is your own voluntary approach: consent and pre-contractual steps.

The technical details described above are used only to protect the form from automated submissions (advertising bots) and, where warranted, to report abuse to the host of the sending machine. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security of processing (GDPR Article 32). They serve no other purpose, and in particular no analytics and no advertising.

How long we keep it

Three years after our last exchange, then deletion. If your enquiry leads to a contract, contractual documents are kept for the applicable statutory periods.

The technical details are contained in the message itself, so they share its fate. Server access logs are managed by our host according to its own retention period.

Who has access

Your messages are received and handled by Aurica Circular. They pass through and are stored on the servers of our host o2switch, located in France. We pass them to no third party, and we neither sell nor rent them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. Write to contact@auricacircular.com and we will reply within one month.

This processing falls under the Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act (個人資料保護法) and, for people located in the European Union, under the GDPR. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
